I love ‘Stray Italian Greyhound", but… what is it about?

As usual, many things. Elections, faith, falling in love, safety in cynicism. That’s after-the-fact over-thinking, though. At the time I was writing it, I was mostly playing around with a fast piano part and internal rhymes.
