Hi Vienna! Greetings from Dallas. I have written music alone for years and am kind of possessive of my songs. But strangely, I find when I collaborate with the right folks it is amazing. Creative energy sky rockets. Do you ever miss not being in a band?

Part of me would love to be in a band—greater than the sum of parts, and all that. But I think I’m wired more for the solo thing. Especially since bandmates probably wouldn’t appreciate my suddenly going to grad school…
