There was passing mention of her on these forums last fall when she and Joshua Radin opened a few sets for Vienna. If you haven't done so already, you should check out her myspace page and listen to some samples (and maybe even pick up her EP for $5):

She's pretty good. :)

I was entranced by her voice when she sang with Joshua Radin at Schuba's. Thanks for the link!

I like it! The parts with vocal harmony are really nice.

Oh, yeah! Got the EP long ago! Her voice is angelic and magical. I saw her and Joshua on Jimmy Kimmel Live last fall (after the mention here), but I didn't check out their websites until 2 days afterwards. Well, slap me silly, they had just played the Independent the day before! Oh, the pain! The pain! I asked her if she planned to come by again soon, but she didn't know for sure.

Funny you should mention Priscilla, because I just got back from seeing Joshua and Schuyler Fisk at the Independent tonight! I was there more for Schuyler, but Joshua was good, too. He and Schuyler are an item now! I tried videoing some of the songs but I got shut down halfway through the 2nd song. Apparently the Independent doesn't allow video at all, even though I had propped up my camcorder in plain sight at the 2 recent Vienna shows. I confirmed with Schuyler that video was ok, but sometimes the venue wants to enforce their rules. Photos to come.

Bumping this topic again because I just received Ahn's EP in the mail today and am loving the song "Rain." I hope to hear more from her!

Priscilla Ahn's A Good Day studio album is scheduled to come out this year, on June 11. I can't wait!

Her album is out! Go get it!

I forgot to post here that she was on Leno tonight. She sang Dream and it was awesome. I just wish the show gave her more time (i.e. for an interview).

I've been trying to get the album! I read that someone got it at Best Buy, so I went yesterday but they didn't have it. BarnesandNoble.com listed it, so I went to the one at 280 Metro Center today, but they don't sell CDs! It looks like Borders Stonestown has it, so I've reserved it for pickup tomorrow! (I can only hit one store a day because I pick up my little man every day and don't have much time.)

I just watched Tivoed Leno; Priscilla was a beautiful songbird! I can't wait for her to come back to SF; I missed her the 1st and 2nd time around.

So far I like the album, but not too fond of Astronaut.
Whoa.. I remembered my sign-in information!

I like Wallflower Friends and and Leave The Light On a lot. :)

I don't think there are any songs I'd skip when listening, but those are the two of the new songs that have stuck with me so far.

I really like "Lullaby". I remember she had it up once on her MySpace page and I loved it when I first heard it. :D

I was pretty surprised that "Are We Different" didn't make it into the album. It's such a good song.
