Im not really sure what I am supposed to do here.

Thing is, I see headings such as: "The Cafe", or something like that, but people are talking about things that are....not related to the thread title.

Please help me out. If someone can provide a list of what each thread is for, I would love that.

All I can say is, read the subheadings. The Cafe's where we chat about life. Do read the thread titles on each board though... find what interests you.
