For those of you who are unfamiliar, Sailor Moon is a Japanese cartoon that was really popular way back in the early 90's, where a group of schoolgirls got magical powers and transformed into superheroes called Sailor Senshi, or Sailor Scouts in the English dub. This was the first anime I ever watched, and so, for all its faults and ridiculosity it still holds a special place in my heart.
Subsequently, when a friend sent me this custom Sailor Senshi maker last night, it ate up any productivity I may have dared to have at the time.
And because it wasn't embarrassing enough making a bunch of Sailor Wish Fulfillments, I went ahead and made Sailor Vienna Teng.

I just COL'd (chuckled out loud...) because just yesterday, I was telling my aural skills midterm group that the "evil vibes" theme music from Sailor Moon is the Phrygian mode! I hadn't watched the series in years, but when we learned about modes in theory, I knew that I had heard the Phrygian tetrachord / mode in Sailor Moon.

I LOVE SAILOR VT's (heh not Sailor V) BOOTS! Though I personally think the costume lacks flowers. _________________ "Drowning my pain in lemonade. . . Singing along to 'feelin' alright'" |

Even in anime, Vienna has good taste in shoes.

It does! But the options aside from color were rather limited.
And as soon as I saw those boots I was like "Ayep, that's totally Sailor Vienna all right!" The teal color was inspired by one of her dresses. _________________ "How far will your chains let you run?
