Our tickets just arrived in the mail yesterday for this show, which I anticipate will be a wonderful pairing with Glen Phillips. Anyone else making plans to attend?
It looks like Vienna and Alex will be the "headliners" for this one, as her name is listed before Glen's on the ticket! _________________ Chris |

I do intend on seeing this performance, but I can't seem to get to the ticket page. :/ _________________ 加油! |

Seems to work okay, at least at the moment. Good luck!
By the way, this is in a theatre space with only 272 seats. Very intimate show. I hope we "fans" can sell the place out for them! _________________ Chris |

Yes! It works now. Thanks! It didn't seem to be working a couple days ago.
Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to get good seats. I have to deposit some money before I can buy tickets. I'm so excited to see Vienna live for the first time! I do hope tickets get sold out too (after I get mine, of course)! _________________ 加油! |

I am so excited for this! I got the email about the concert over the holidays and bought tickets. Am in the 3rd row! Woo!
I missed Vienna when she opened in Vancouver,BC a few years ago. I learned about the concert AS IT WAS HAPPENING via a newspaper article. I was so upset!
This will be my first live concert. I don't know what the Glen Phillips thing is about - is she performing with him or are they performing separately? I hope it's separately. |

I'm going to order my tickets when I get home. I don't know what's the deal with Glen Phillips either. I believe they're performing separately since his website says his performance starts an hour later than Vienna's. I'm not too familiar with his music though. Should I be? _________________ 加油! |

They're co-billed I think, so they have separate sets of about the same length.
Vienna does a cover of Glen's Maya but I didn't look into his other stuff _________________ "Drowning my pain in lemonade. . . Singing along to 'feelin' alright'" |

He was the front man and main writer of Toad the Wet Sprocket back in the 80's, and I liked them a lot. I haven't paid much attention to his solo career, probably should. He was performing in Toad really young; he's still in his 30's. _________________ Fred

Been a few days since I popped in here. Glad to see there's now some additional action on this thread. Yes, Glen is great. And it's highly probable that Vienna and Glen will do some songs together at this show (and the others where they're "co-billed" BEFORE the Cayamo cruise), as they are each big fans of the other. So I'd advise anyone going to this concert that you make sure you catch the entire show.
Since this is the only show they're doing together AFTER the cruise (at least announced so far), I'm particularly intrigued by the possibilities here. This will also be the first show for both artists coming off the boat, so the creative and collaborative juices may really be flowing at this one. It will be really interesting to see how they adjust back to land, too! (so don't be surprised if you notice a little "swaying action" up there on stage... ..... seriously, after a five-day cruise it will take them at least a week or so to lose the sensation of being on a ship).
I'm painfully adjusting to the fact that I can't go on Cayamo this year. This will be the next best thing. If there's anyone out there who's considering whether or not he/she should catch this show... don't hesitate any longer. Get tickets and BE THERE! I can promise you that you won't be sorry. _________________ Chris |

I went to Glen's website and downloaded his sampler. Now I'm going to listen to then intensely before his performance so I won't be completely clueless. He sounds good though! I really do hope they perform some numbers together. _________________ 加油! |

Glen Phillips is pretty cool. Extra bonus, although I really am going for Vienna.
Do we have confirmation that Alex Wong will be playing with her? |
