In NYC Vienna has performed at Joe's Pub which, IIRC, is all ages and at The Living Room which, again IIRC, is 21+ unless accompanied by a parent; not sure what the situation is at the Bowery Ballroom; so don't give up hope if you can't get into the Union Hall show.

I'm in a similar boat as yourself. I recently got my best friend into Vienna and was ecstatic when I saw her performing in NYC again this year (I saw her for the first time live at the Joe's Pub venue this year and was floored...in a good way, of course :D). I just turned 20 in March and my friend turns 21 in November. It's not the end of the world if we can't get in, we'll see her live together in the near future regardless, of course, but it would be a nice addition to our summer vacation plans.

I'll probably contact Union Hall myself soon to inquire about the age limit, but let us know what they say about your situation when you find out!

Thanks so much for the comments, everyone! I really enjoyed reading them. My parents and I have been discussing it for a little while now, and we've decided we'll make the drive up to Camden, New Jersey for the Music Festival on July 22, at which she'll be performing, instead of Union Hall. It actually works out really well this way, because we also have relatives in that area, so it makes for a better trip to go out there for more than one reason. I am so excited!! =) And it's great news for me that she's moving to New York...it means going to a second concert won't be a big issue.
