Joe's Pub - reserve your seats now :P and time change

So silly me... I ordered the tickets for the show at Joe's towards the end of January and neglected to read the little snippet at the end of the e-receipt that tells you to call in for a dinner reservation to make sure you get seating. Maybe I neglected it because it says there's a $12 minimum of drinks/food per person for the reserve seats...

Anyways, I just got off the phone with the person there and she told me that basically the only standing areas in the room is at the bar towards the back... which means if you don't have a dinner reservation, you're stuck there.

So for anyone planning to go to the show/s this Saturday, make sure you call in to reserve a seat before it's too late! I managed to get a spot for myself for both shows, but they're probably not going to be great seats.

One last but important note: they changed the show time from 7:30 to 7pm, for anyone who didn't notice...

I know there are going to be several forum members attending the Joe's Pub shows. If you have a table reservation (see Tanthalas post above) and want to be seated in the same general area with other forum fans contact me. When I made my table reservation, I explained there would be a group of fans who correspond online who may want to sit together. The hostess said I might be able to arrange it if I give them a list of the reservation names that wish to be seated together.

If you are interested, send me an email paul@viennateng.com or a PM with the name used for the reservation, number in your party and the time of your reservation. I will try to get us seated together.

Try to let me know no later than 9:00 A.M. Sat. because I will have a long trip to NYC. I don’t think I will have a chance to get online once I leave the motel.

Paul, I emailed you. If it is possible I would like to sit with the rest of the forumers, however, if that is not possible I will call the place for my own reservation. Which I didn't notice either till I saw Paul's email. hahaha

I just called for it .... first show, no reservation. Second show I got a reservation. dang it!

Been there before so I knew the deal and made reservations a while ago. Not sure if my party will be 2 or 5 so I'll pass on the Forum table. I'm sure we'll find each other though and have plenty of time to catch up before and between the two shows. See you all there!
