Although I'm not crazy about outdoor concerts, I'm looking forward to a solo show...it's been a while and I love Vienna solo.

F-R-E-E, that spells free!

Curious song selection, but there were requests also. Weather-wise, "a chamber-of-commerce" kind of night. The dedication to Tim was of course, a great touch.

As much as I love The Watercolor Cafe in Larchmont, a family obligation will likely keep me away tonight.

What did she say?

Vienna recounted how a couple years ago shortly before an outdoor concert in nearby Haddon Heights, an active and helpful (I believe those were the words she used, 48 hours later) passed on too soon. The fan's name was Tim (jazzfrac from these boards). She dedicated Eric's Song to Tim that night, and she dedicated Eric's Song to Tim once again Tuesday night.

ISTR Vienna doing a dedication to Tim several other times when she has played in Philly/South Jersey. I believe his parents often attend her shows. They were there Tues.

On a different note, it been interesting to see how Vienna's use of the looper has progressed from its first use at Rockwood last year to now.

Went back through the scrapbook posts and dug the one up about Jazzfrac.

That's just really nice that Vienna still remembers and honors Tim.

Indeed. The first time could be perhaps attributed to a "nice gesture". But the fact that she is still remembering him every time she plays the area shows her true heart. Amazingly wonderful.
