So many delicious treats, only two ears.

Here are some artists I've been enjoying lately (besides Vienna, of course) that you may not have heard of:

Susan Werner
Kristilyn Robertson
Charlotte Martin
Rachael Yamagata

My goal is to find one CD a month that I want to buy from a new artist. This month was Charlotte Martin, and next month is Rachael Yamagata. I've been listening to Susan Werner for years and she's always got something up her sleeve. Kristilyn Robertson has a very fresh sounding CD that is available on CD baby. Please let me know of any other artists you think I might like.

What genre would you categorized these artist?

I have a Jazz artist that I'd like to share with you guys. I've been listening to her for a decade now. She's a pianist, so most of her songs are instrumental. Her name is Keiko Matsui, I don't know if any of you have ever heard of her.

Here's a link where you can listen to samples of her songs. Keiko Matsui

My personal favorites would be her Doll and White Owl CDs.
Always look on the bright side of life.

clam posted about Keiko here. I've listened to her since her debut. "Light Above the Trees" is my favorite, especially a killer live version that I found somewhere.

I love cdbaby.com! It's so easy to select the type of music you like and then listen to samples of some really terrific lesser known artists. I've discovered Amy jo, Alysson Light and Charity Kahn to name a few. Their customer service is great--fast shipping!
