A young band from L.A, sounding a bit grungy...Being compared with all of those artists. They have some good tunes, but I don't pay as much attention to their lyrics. A favorite of mine so far is "little lover's so polite" that they have on the mp3 player in their site. After just discovering them, I might go out and buy the latest album.

my friend got me into these guys. really good stuff! do you know what the name comes from? they used to pickup food from a store named 'silversun'. i originally thought they were talking about pickups on a guitar!

Yeah, I could never remember where their name came from, but that it sort of changed into "a state of mind" according to one of the band members said in their bio on the website. But they could just be pulling our legs...
