If you like Vienna...

Postby Ghines » Wed Sep 13, 2006 8:49 pm

Hey everyone...

I know its a bit cheeky being on Vienna's website and all, but I listened to some song excerpts of a singer called Corinne Ray on Amazon after buying 'Dreaming Through the Noise' and I was totally spellbound!

Just wondering if there are any fans of Corinne around who'd recommend her cds? She did remind me of Vienna quite a bit, although i found her songs sounded slightly more poppy or accessible If i dare say so... 8)

hope to hear from u guys soon!

Hey Ghines -

Not to be the topic nazi, but I moved this to the "Other Fine Cuisine," section which is about other artists we like to listen to. You're of course welcome to recommend anyone you like!

Also, did you mean Corrinne May?

Sounds like you are talking about Corrinne May. If so I highly recommend both of her CD's. If you purchase them from pinkarmchair.com you can get both for $25.00 and she will autograph them for you.
She is really great and personable, she does respond personally to emails sent to her.

Good call rahau, I overlooked Corinne Bailey Rae. Either one sounds good but I prefer Corrinne May personally. I guess that's why she came to me first.
So Ghines, which one were you referring to?

Yeah, I really like Corinne Bailey Rae quite a bit. Her record is a fun little record for summer days, that's for sure.
