Welcome to the board Chinaboy. Hope you are able to obtain Vienna's CD real soon.

I think you will like Canada very much.

My first post

Yes indeed I am a newbie but I am also one of those chinese fans of VT :D

I listen to many singers' songs all over the world but I was so impressed by the emotions involved in her songs when I first heard "The Tower" not long ago. The songs are great! I am not a lovey-dovey although I listen to lots of songs of different singers but very very few of them could attract me, but here VT's songs are the ones that I now and will listen to once and once again.

I am a student in a uni in England. If I would have known that VT's got a show in London early this year I would really have gone there and enjoy the show!

Anyways, best wish to her and hope there will be lots and lots nice songs of her in the future.

actually, the name of Vienna Teng came to me the year before last year,in a chinese forum, somebody introduced vienna's music to us.the one said vienna was some alike tori amos' style(she is also my favourite),esp.the piano.so i downloaded four songs: lullaby for a stormy night, between, gravity and enough to go by.but yeah, after my listening,i myself do not think she is similar to tori amos.vienna is vienna, she is more gentle and intimate, close to inner,i should say.

Welcome, paradise008! I'd say your English is better than most of our Chinese. :) I'm sure everyone here would be happy to let you practice your English. We're glad you're here. ~Ginny
