Too bad we couldn't get a sneek peek....preview...snippet(hint hint)...but it would only leave us wanting for more....

We all agree, February is too far away....the new CD would have made great Christmas gifts. :(

The photo is small but from what I can see, I really like it. I wonder who the photographer is- I think he/she did a great job in capturing Vienna's personality and musical talent. I wonder if I could buy that in a poster....

That's why I did with Waking Hour last year. It came out on election day.

Look forward to February release. Just saw her in performance last week and talked with her afterward. She is such a delight.

The album is too short. Only 11 tracks....but the hidden track #12 is wonderful. I saw her twice once in July and once just a few days ago. The time in July she sang 5 songs that made the new album and she sang 2 new ones on Wednesday. So for those who have seen her the past few times, probably only 4 new songs you haven't heard.

How did you get the album already? I thought it hasn't even been released yet. I was going to order it from Amazon but it says "This item will be released on February 24, 2004."

Apparently some promotional copies have been sent out already. I'm not sure why they would do so this far in advance of the release date, but I'm grateful that they have...

Feb 24 is my birthday. Guess that's as good a release date as any. B)

The album was supposed to be out just in time for Christmas because it contains a Christmas song aptly titled "The atheist christmas carol" which she performed on the more recent shows. I guess her record company pushed it back to feb 24th so they can plan a proper promotion. Here is the complete tracklisting:

<a href='http://www.aplmusique.com/fmd/recorddetail.asp?RecordID=4075' target='_blank'>http://www.aplmusique.com/fmd/recorddetail...p?RecordID=4075</a>

Advanced copies were sent out in early November...that's how I got a copy.

It's perhaps my favorite. As good as Daughter. :)

I just stumbled across the cover photo and release date while looking through Amazon.com's upcoming releases (I'm currently compiling my Top 10 Albums of the Year and my Top 10 Most Anticipated Albums of 2004 lists). How come it doesn't say anything about this on her official site?

Anyway, I'm obviously looking forward to this. Too bad she's deemed that "Boy at the Piano" will be a concert-only song... but I'm sure the stuff that did make the cut will be great.

She's bound to raise a few eyebows with that Atheist Christmas Carol, eh?

Now Playing: "Good-bye", Christine Dente
