Taiwanese If you'd like to learn Taiwanese, be prepared to have your mind filled with nasty images. Taiwanese can be quite deep, but also very, very crude. There's a reason why Taiwanese gangsters speak, well, Taiwanese . :? Some goes for old grandmothers (like mine). But it's always fun to be arou...

Well that's good to hear! When I return this coming Lunar New Years I will conduct interview with friends and family and survey all major record stores like Rose Records for her CDs and interrogate store employees. Hell I'll probably call some record company as well. I will get to the bottom of thi...

My parents recently got a phone call from my aunt in Taiwan, who absolutely raved about how crazy mad popular Vienna is there. People in Taiwan even know which part of Taiwan her PARENTS are from; that's how obsessive Taiwanese people are about her.

Sadly, none yet. My friends at Calvin made a point to tease me about not being able to go when she performed there recently. :(

Yes! After listening to DTTN 10 billion times yesterday and today after JUST buying it, I can now post in this thread! I know, I make such a bad fangirl. But I do more for Vienna than for my world famous second cousin, sales-wise. I just refrain from downloading my cousin's music, lol. Waking Hour: ...

During SAT II testing...

I took the SAT IIs today at a boarding school. It was an interesting building, to say the least. Actually, it was multiple buildings. My mom said that it resembled old Chinese buildings during the years of occupation by various countries. There was a courtyard surrounded by arches and had one of tho...

When the video first started, I thought I was watching a video of a mild rock concert. The drums (esp at the beginning) are a nice addition, though. This rendition of Tower is definitely different, huh? There's a borderline rock feel to the arrangement and even Vienna's voice. I kind of like the alb...

..speaking of college apps..I need to finish my grad. apps. haha!! Way to rub it in that I still have 6+ years of school to go, lol. Hm. I kind of look at it this way: I can laugh at the problems of a past-me, but I can't laugh at a now-me. I can also use past problems to build up a now-me to avoid...

Ah, coming to this forum is so refreshing-- everyone's so sincerely nice! I'd have to agree that we are rather cool people :D Can't really decide on whether past problems are more happy than present problems. My problem right now is that I really don't have a problem, which is lending itself nicely ...

Helen Trevillion

She's not making a career out of music, singing and songwriting, but her stuff is intriguing just the same. Personally, I like her songs-- they're poetic at times, relatable at others-- so I decided to make a topic featuring her. All her songs are downloadable through her website. I haven't gone thr...

I'm a Michigander! :D But sadly, I don't have any time to go to the live shows... I hope you have fun, though! I'm sorry about your relationship chaos. I don't know very much about that kind of thing, but I wish you luck. It's always disconcerting when plans go wrong, and even worse when love goes w...
