I saw her two days ago when she opened for Vienna here in Salt Lake. Sadly, she did not sing "Hot in Herre", probably because the show was being held in a church. Pity. However, she did sing "Since U Been Gone", and I discovered that when not sung by Kelly Clarkson, it is a good ...

I got to see him when he and Carbon Leaf were co-headlining a tour last Fall. I had not known of him before, but his live show really impressed me. Definitely a fan of his now.

Oh, I would dearly love to have heard her version. That is one of my favorite songs, period.

Okay, I promise I'll remind you next time there is a show I think you will like! After all, you did tell me about VT's show, so I do owe you. However, in my defense I would like to say I knew it was going to be a late show and that you probably would not want to go, and I was right (about it being a...

It was a great show! It was just him and his guitar and about 50-60 of us clustered at the front of the stage. Afterwards he met with us next to the merchandise table, and I got to talk to him for a couple minutes.

A helluva way to start the new year!

Angie Aparo

I am going to see him perform in a couple days, and I thought I would post on here to see if there are any other Angie Addicts amongst the Tengsters. I first heard of Angie Aparo in 2000 when he released the single "Spaceship". I had just moved to Atlanta, and Angie being an Atlanta artist...

David Francey's "The First Set: Live From Folk Alley". A wonderfully warm and funny cd that has had constant play in my cd player for the last three months. I really wish I could see him live, but short of moving to Ontario I am s.o.l..

Spyff is being kind - the venue not only sucked, but blew. All the speakers were pointing straight off the front of the stage so that those of us on the side (a good 1/3 of the crowd) got shafted on sound quality.

And yet despite that, it was still a great show.

I've gone Purple, baaay-bee!

Time to bust out the Happy Dance!

Oh yeah!
Get Down!
Shake it! Shake it!

Now, another 50K and a whole lot of editing, and maybe I'll have something worth keeping.

I am doing it for the second year. Last year's effort is best not spoken of, and this year's is going sloooowly. I am only at 11,000 words right now, and that is 14,000 fewer than I where I need to be to hit the 50K goal by the 30th. It isn't as bad as it seems though, as I was road trippin' for the...

Hey Spyff,

I haven't seen Charolette Martin myself, but two of my friends saw her in Atlanta and said that she put on a pretty good show.

Where is she playing? I might be able to make it.
