I've gotten several redirects trying to access the forum recently, though not in the last few days. I was going to scan my computer to make sure it wasn't something in my system causing it before I said anything here. Other folks having run into it makes me think there's something weird, though.

I think that 22-song solo setlist was from a Borders performance way back during the Waking Hour days, or even early Warm Strangers. Though if someone else can confirm this, be my guest, I don't exactly have the best memory. XD The Borders show was my guess as well. Pretty cool for her to get to pl...

Live at Paste Magazine, February 17 2010

Vienna and Alex (along with Glen Phillips) stopped by the Paste Magazine office to do a short session before their show in Atlanta. I had the pleasure of being there, and was excited to see Paste has now posted a video from their set: VT and Alex at Paste Glen was awesome, too (as always): Glen Phil...

Haha, Signal Fire was actually my fault. Vienna has played it for me every couple of years when I've got the audacity to ask. She's too kind. :) I've got a full video of it and a whole ton of other stuff that I'll post once I get around to converting it. Speaking of, I'm in some of those videos! Wei...

She was asked this question on one of the Q&A sessions a while back: http://viennateng.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=16754&highlight=#16754 But rather than make you scroll through, here's her concise response: do you mind if other musicians (ie, me) play covers of your songs in our own small sho...

Oof. I just reviewed my recent youtube uploads, and the audio sounds awful compared with my source video. Anyone have any suggestions as how to get around youtube's terrible audio compression?

Apologies for the shakiness, we weren't supposed to be taking video, so I was attempting discretion.

Re: Variety Playhouse Atlanta GA 5/9/09

The venue, sound technicians and lighting technician were all great. It was great to be able to really hear Ward on guitar on the songs, as he has typically been mixed a bit lower than I would like in the mix. .... The management at the venue were not the most accomodating to those of us that might...

The Square Room is a really new venue, so calling would definitely be the way to go. I just fixed my schedule so I can hit that show too (yippee!), so I may give them a ring tomorrow. :) Variety Playhouse does go with the artist's wishes, but they won't make a statement until the day of the show, as...

I was hoping to hit the Knoxville show, but it doesn't look like the work schedule is going to allow that. Sigh. I'll definitely be at the Atlanta show (but you already knew that ;))!

Sitting in a Ft. Lauderdale airport now, waiting for my flight back home from Cayamo.... Holy crap, what an awesome trip. I took TONS of video of Vienna (over 12gigs), including the aforementioned Simon and Garfunkle and Beatles jams, so I'll try and start getting some stuff uploaded to youtube once...

Duncan's new album hit the shelves today, another pairing with musical theater. It's been a wonderful companion to counterbalance a rough day. Fantastic stuff. More info about it here.
