Just preodered the new album...

I preordered 'Dreaming Through the Noise' about an hour ago on the strength of listening to the songs available on the site. The truth is that I haven't really been in a Vienna zone for a long time. I've been going through a strange phase recently with music. I'm getting into very heavy stuff (I am ...

'Tengsta' sounds interesting... that makes me think of gangsta rap. I can't really imagine Vienna going down that route... the mind boggles. For real, yo. It probably wouldn't be possible to give the album a name without hearing a few tracks and getting a good idea of what kind of songs/ideas it con...

Those new lyrics are pretty damn good it must be said. I can't wait to hear the full song... perhaps it'll be on album number three, perhaps not, who knows? I especially loved the lines: "She disappears in her loyalty. She is a dress wearing a face in the doorway, opening her arms out to you..." Fan...

Thanks for that, very constructive. I'm actually broke, and intended to donate something once my benifit came through (I have some elements of mental illness to contend with and thus can't work, at least at the moment), but the stupid benifit people messed up and I have to wait longer. I really woul...

Although the donations on the media page are closed, the house concert is still "available for a few more days to make sure everyone has had a chance to see it." But try as I might to view it, I keep getting asked for a username and password... so I was wondering if this is a mistake or if there is ...

I'm really excited at the prospect of a new Vienna album. She's already exprimenting and that can never be a bad thing. I'm wondering if there will be some more guitar driven songs. She mentioned having a guitar handy as well as a guitar tuner, meaning she may try messing around with different tunin...

Oi! Metal does not stink! Tori Amos was/still is heavily influenced by metal. Plus Tool are one of the best bands on the planet. Plus I'm in a metal band! *sulks*

I rented 'Hero' yesterday so I'll watch that tonight. From what I've seen from various clips, it should be amazing. Has anyone seen any versions of The Grudge? I made the mistake of seeing one of the Japanese versions (there are three of them apparantly) before seeing the remake. The Japanese versio...

I know everyone will know what I'm talking about when I mention the newest Asian quake today... nothing more needs to be said. I'm just hoping things will be okay in the long run. Thoughts and, potentially prayers if I prayed, go out to everyone caught up in it. I'm just relieved that there have bee...

Thanks guys. :) An interesting fact is that UK album sales have actually increased since the introduction of file sharing. But then, I can only say that about the UK; I don't know if this is true of anywhere else in the world. I guess the only thing I'm annoyed about concerning file sharing is peopl...

I've been talking to some of my friends over here about file sharing and we came up with some interesting pointers. I'm wondering what people here think about it. I realise it might be a bit of a sensitive subject to post on a musician's board... which is, to be honest, why I thought it should be de...

Do song meanings really matter? Surely it'd be best to draw your own conclusion about a song's meaning and enjoy it. That's what makes me content with Vienna, as well as with Tool and APC. Each to their own I guess. It's very cool when artists/bands write songs that make people think though, and Vie...
