Well . . . . I can only eat it if it is gluten-free . . . and I'd hate to make you go through all that trouble, so I guess I'll resort to the consolation prize of interior satisfaction. =) Thanks for posting. That was a fun mental challenge. Though, i must admit that Luka was a complete shot in the ...

Thanks for correcting! I am not good at keeping track of setlist order, esp. when operating by memory. =) As for the fireworks, you def don't hear them on this recording. It was literally just a quick thing that random campers must have set off at the during Stray, nothing professional or repeated e...

I agree with all that has been previously guessed, except I think Drive My Car is Blue Caravan, esp given VT's tweet about the keychestra. With some uncertainties, here's my guesses: The Saint (Orbital) Augustine Girl U Want (Devo) Whatever You Want Hold Her Down (Toad the Wet Sprocket) Gravity Driv...

I know that I thought it was . . . but I could not get anyone with me or around me to share in my wonder and delight. Oh well. =)

Philadelphia Folk Festival

Thought I'd post the set list. Since it was a short one, it's one I can actually handle! 1. Harbor 2. Stray Italian Greyhound 3. Antebellum 4. Brooklyn Blurs 5. Grandmother Song It was the first time I had heard Vienna on piano for Brooklyn Blurs and the piano part really stood out to me as somethin...

This is very cool. Thanks for sharing! I was just thinking recently of the variety of renditions of "In the Creases" I've seen depending on what instruments/persons are there. I am impressed with how well things fit together in your remix. Did this take you a long time to do?

VT's a woman of many talents I guess! After the show, she said that the group told her to feel free to join in if she felt like it, so I would say it was her decision to join in! Thanks for the finger crossing. The irony of it all is that there was tons of parking in around the venue, so that wasn't...

Well, I'm glad I could be of some use. It's good that there were only four songs b/c I'm not the type that writes setlists as I go. ;) And even with that small number, I almost couldn't remember what the first song was! The only reason I remembered for sure was because in the performer/audience dial...

People's Improv Theater: Hammer Throw

So Vienna's entered into the world of improv now! The setup was improv skits alternating with Vienna's solo performances. Occasionally the skits would continue during Vienna's songs. She played four songs: 1. Antebellum 2. Kansas 3. Whatever You Want 4. Harbor The improv was funny (especially since ...

Yes, it does seem like you are the catalyst for my postings on here! Well, I was laughing to myself about the moniker "Rockwood House Keys Orchestra" because it can be a double entendre depending on whether house modifies orchestra or keys. And then, I wondered why that was even occupying ...

Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 - July 12, 2010

As per request, I'm going to try to write a report of what happened last week - if my memory allows. Throughout the night, Vienna was joined by Alex, Ari Hest, Melissa Tong, and Melissa's friend Ben. Setlist: 1. Shasta (per request) 2. Everything's Fine 3. Gravity 4. Don't Be Afraid (TPR) 5. Green L...

Was waiting for a thread about Pencil Sketch to start.

I don't know where this version is from, but I can add that Vienna did play it at one of her Rockwood shows earlier this year. I think it was one in Jan when she played a last minute gig with Paul Freeman. At that show, she said that it's only the second time she has played it live. (She played off ...

Today must be the day for getting our copies! I'm impressed that they came so quickly. I'm so glad that I didn't wait until the Highline show to get the book/usb. I'm picking up on so many things that I didn't get to appreciate when i was actually at Joe's Pub. But, most of all, I can sense the pass...

Thanks for the welcome! The somewhat funny part is that I'm not really "new" to Vienna or even reading posts in the forum as I've been a fan of Vienna's since 2003.
