Fred, you are fast. And yes, I would so totally love to hear a Vienna Teng of one of these three songs. (especially "Nightswimming".)

@Cooler near the lake: Yes, it was an awesome concert :D. And I know what you mean by saying „laid-back-no-frills-no-looper-style four years ago“. I really love the „simple version“ of her songs, just Vienna & her piano (and of course Alex cajon & Ward’s cello) make me completely happy. I ha...

Altes Pfandhaus, Cologne/Germany August 10, 2011

Despite her studies Vienna took the time off and visited Germany for four concerts. What an unexpected wonderful surprise! Vienna started the concert with three solo songs (Eric’s song, Last snowfall & Whatever you want) before Alex & Ward made their „great entrance on stage“. The show...

Hi Scot,

that would be great. So when is the next flight to Cologne? :D Definately no rain inside the Altes Pfandhaus.

"Eichkätzchen"? New species in Germany  ! The other one who eats nuts is "Eichhörnchen" :D

Me and some friends are going to the concert in Kölle. I hope you've already bought a ticket as the concert is sold out. Fourth time in a row, I guess the "Kölner" have a great taste of music (except for some carnival songs) I am so looking forward to the concert....35 days left :!: ...

Hi Scot,

nice to hear that you enjoyed your Vienna Teng concerts in Germany that much. And I am sure next time you will cross two oceans for a Vienna concert even without a business meeting in Germany

Yes, the "Altes Pfandhaus" is a really nice venue. Alex said that it is great feeling sitting so close right in the middle of the audience and feel how they respond to the music. And yes, sometime you get to know your neighbour, I met Linus from the VT forum by chance as he was sitting in ...

Hi Scot, it was really great to finally meet you in person :D I hope you had a save trip back to your beautiful island. Btw. sunny day & perfect blue sky this weekend. No rain attacks and ghosts in the loudspeaker. Why are "the moments always vanishing"? Here is a link to jazz-online. ...

Altes Pfandhaus/ Cologne - 12 August 2010

What can I say about Vienna’s concert in Cologne/ Köln? It was soooo worth the four months waiting and I guess that wasn’t only my opinion as the concert was sold out in April and was still sold out in August. :D A very excited crowd welcomed Vienna, Alex & Ward and they thanked it with an absol...

Frankfurter Hof - Mainz, April 25, 2010

I felt quite heartbroken when I read that Vienna had to cancel the concert in Cologne because of this 15 letters Islandic volcano. Fortunately I got a ticket for the sold out concert in Mainz two days later from someone who was stuck in London because of the same 15 letters Islandic volcano. T...

Vienna played "I can't make you love me" in Stuttgart? Now I am jealous as she didn't play it in Mainz (although the concert in Mainz was absolutely great :D ). It's one of my all-time favourite songs which I never get tired listening to. I even own the piano notes although I hardl...

Well, interesting idea! My friends are all "newbies" so they don't know what they missed. Fortunately Vienna rescheduled her Cologne concert to August :D Wish you a great concert in Stuttgart.
Btw. Isn't it a little bit early walking around at 5 am in Stuttgart?

Lucky Stuttgart! Unfortunately not Cologne
The last few days were really nerve shattering... waiting, wishing & hoping for some good news. I am sure Vienna did her best to get a flight for all the concerts in Germany. Friday night without Vienna, my friends and I are heartbroken...
