Wikipedia Entry

I happened to check the Wikipedia entry for Vienna Teng and it had her actual name listed. I had thought that Vienna preferred not to have this public so I went ahead and edited out. Some of you all might want to keep on eye on this site to make sure it stays that way.

Hey Ginny! Are you still going to stop in Hawaii?

Earlier you said you were going to stop in Hawaii on the way back from China. Any chance you will see Scot on the Big Island?

Sounds like a successful charity benefit concert

I'm pleased to hear the concert was a success. How many folks attended and what was the venue like?

Glad to hear it was a success!

I'm real glad to hear it was a success and an enjoyable concert! Kudo's to Kenji for single-handedly organizing this event for the benefit of the Support Network for Battered Women. And thanks to Vienna for endorsing such a worth cause!

Scot:

Boy, New Mexico looked beautiful, and Hawaii sounds great, too. Will you possibly be at the observatory on Haleakala on Maui or Mauna Kea on the big island?

Ginny,

Sounds like a super trip. I recommend seeing "Lost in Translation" before you go! I did not realize your music ensemble had such an international scope. Hawaii would be a definite treat, too.

Funny, I thought that this thread was going to be about a beefy singer (Mr. Marvin Lee Aday) from the 70's and 80's making a guest comeback performance tour in a tiny Asian island nation.

Ang Mo, always entertaining, sometimes helpful, but never ever predictable!

Just heard a terrific singer songwriter on NPR's Weekend Edition, Sunday by the name of Kasey Chambers. She's a bit of country tinged artist, but not excessively so. Interestingly, she is Australian, but her musical roots are pure USofA. This is the same program that first introduced me to Vienna. A...

I've enjoyed your international posts. For those of us tied down geographically your updates from the road both domestically and now from around the globe are the next best thing to "being there!"

Thanks!

Ginny,

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your mother's condition. I'm sure that it has been an emotional roller coaster for all of you. Our thought's and prayer's are with you.
