I was there and it was fantastic! I brought two friends who'd never heard of any of the performers, and they LOVED you! Now I've got them hooked, too :) I have to say, the sing-along Soon Love Soon was so much fun. Thank you so much for such a lovely show.

Thank you all so much for your advice! I agree that "pop" is too close to Britney Spears and Co for comfort, but I still can't find anything agreeable. It's fantastic that she's sort of unclassifiable but it is making it rather difficult to know what to write so I end up with a roommate with similar...

I've thought of another question: When you were at Stanford, did you ever play at the CoHo? I know that now students play pretty often in the evenings, and I was wondering if that's where you'd gotten started. (My brother had his first "solo concert" there tonight, so that's what made me think of it...

Hi! I asked this down on the general section of the board and a very intelligent individual suggested I ask here: I'm filling in roommate forms for next year (I'm going to be a freshman at Stanford), and it asks for "The Type of Music I Prefer" followed by "My Favorite Musical Artists Are...". For t...

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere on the board before, but I can't seem to find it: I'm filling in roommate forms for next year (I'm going to be a freshman at Stanford), and it asks for "The Type of Music I Prefer" followed by "My Favorite Musical Artists Are". For the latter, I've put down...

Wow, what a fantastic list! The only problem is that I'm technologically impaired, and I don't know how to download these songs so as to get them on to a CD. Suggestions?
Thank you so much!

Yeah, I got mine for $11.99 at Border's in Palo Alto. Actually, I only paid $1.75 because I had a gift card (what a deal!).
Anway, I agree about Homecoming having country-potential, but I think I like this version better than I would a country version. :)
Big hugs,

I was at Border's last night, and I agree -- both the parking and the mob scene around poor Vienna after her performance were wretched! My mom decided to come with me at the last minute (I'd intended to be there around 7, but we didn't leave the house till 7:20, so didn't get parked and inside till ...

First off, let me say that I haven't listened to anything but Warm Strangers since I got it yeterday. Passage is (at the time) my favorite piece on the album. I truly stopped everything the first time I heard it. Wow. Not only is the voice clear, strong, and without accompaniment (!), the story -- a...

Hi everyone! What an awesome site! I had the brilliant good luck to see Vienna last night at Border's in Palo Alto -- what a treat. My mom came along even though she'd never heard the music before, and she fell in love! I first found Vienna's music on amazon, where they have those little recommendat...
