Beautiful song. Might be my favorite on the album. Beautiful song alright. Will have to study the lyrics. I had to play it several times today while unloading the car after a camping trip [and will have to play it again!]. I like the counterpoint of the male voice. [I'm an early VT adopter, but a l...

When my grandma was around, she used to always give me the "find a nice Chinese girl and get married" speech. Which I guess I did. Let's face it - most of us do not have the talent to support ourselves in the music industry. What seems like annoying advice often turns out to be good advice...

About Make a Wish

From a Google search: "Glad to see a lot of people remember this show! I remember it being on ABC on Sunday mornings at 10 or 10:30am (like a previous poster said, right after Bullwinkle). The way they explored words and phrases with free association definitely was imaginative and captivating, ...

I'll bet that Vienna could do some wonderous things with "Taxi". Vienna's name written all over it!

Ah, it's coming back to me now.

I heartily agree! :D

The Chapins

Yes, Harry's hit Taxi is a pretty haunting song that sticks in your mind.

What was the name of Tom's kids show that used to be on TV? My brothers and I always used to watch it. The theme was a catchy tune he played on his guitar as he floated up in the end.
I'm all for whatever look appeals to the widest audience. I'd like to think it wasn't this look, but maybe I am underestimating how shallow such an audience might be....
It's no big deal - just a little experimentation with Vienna's appearance.

"Uh, yeah, I'd definitely be stalking her if she was hot." Or something like that. I suppose that might be something women entertainers have in the back of their mind as they become more well-known. Maybe she needs to budget for security  Oh I'm sure Vienna didn't mind the hair and ...

Wow, yes, I caught the HUGE picture of Vienna on the front of the A&E section of this morning's San Jose Mercury. And wow, V looks glamorous with her makeup! I'm an early VT adopter and it's been a while since I checked in at the website and forum. Lots of changes!! I don't get to listen to the ...

KTEH performance

I am an early VT adopter checking in after quite a while. I got an e-mailing about tonight's show and had to tune in. I only saw fleeting glimpses of the show while putting the kids to bed. Will have to watch the tape. Heck, as far as I am concerned, you probably could have thrown out the tape of th...

Also available for the first time: signed 8x10 photos, somewhat to Vienna's amusement ("Why would anybody just want a photo of me? Maybe I don't want to know.") Why would we want an 8X10 photo? To throw darts at. Just kidding! :P I love Vienna. To my shock she put my name in the thank-you's in WS. T...

It couldn't hurt to get on the National Bone Marrow Donation Registry as well. I did a couple of years ago when they were looking for a marrow match for a woman.

Hi,

FYI, there is a Vienna Teng "tribe" on tribe.net, which is a social network.
Perhaps we can all link together there as well.

I bought both of her CDs, and have listened to nothing else since. My appreciation of her talent grows with each repeat listening. So for the first time in my 50 years, I am embarking on a multiple city tour to attend concerts. I have tickets for Chicago, Lexington, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Rochester...
